About Choreographer Galen Hooks
Galen Hooks is an LA native who has been in the entertainment industry since she was 7 years old. She is a chameleon who defies genre and seamlessly shift between roles both in front of and behind the camera. At 7 years old, her dance group was the Junior Dance Champion on Star Search. As a child, she worked on shows such as Full House and performed in an opera with Plácido Domingo. As a teen, she assisted choreographer Marguerite Derricks for Donnie Darko and That 70’s Show.
Galen’s reach is felt worldwide. Her iconic choreography is synonymous with risk-taking and authenticity as an artist.
An industry darling with over 20 years experience, she is an MTV VMA-nominated choreographer with one of the most impressive dance and choreography careers of her generation. Her Youtube videos have become a viral sensation with over 300 million views across social media.
