Debbie Roshe has worked as a choreographer and has been a prominent dance teacher in New York for the past 15 years. She grew up in the midwest where she had Ford Foundation scholarships from School Of American Ballet. After graduating from Indiana University, she moved to New York. She was on scholarship with The Alvin Ailey School, and shortly after started working on Broadway.
Debbie also choreographed Palm Beach at La Jolla Playhouse, A Novel Romance and Zona, and Damn Yankees at the Ivoryton Playhouse. Her other work includes Sing A Christmas Song at George Street Playhouse, and the 25th Anniversary Gala for Playwrights Horizons. She choreographed a new version of Diamonds in Kansas City, a National Tour of The Rocky Horror Show, and the nightclub act A Bushel of Nuts. Debbie has also staged numerous commercials and industrials.
As a performer, she appeared on Broadway in Woman of the Year with Lauren Bacall and Camelot with Richard Burton, and in the National Touring Companies of Song and Dance, La Cage Aux Folles, and West Side Story. (learn more about Debbie Roshe here)More Debbie Roshe videos here
