About Shannon Lewis
Shannon Lewis was born in Toronto, dual citizen of the US/ Canada. Shannon is based in her beloved New York City. She is a content creator and creative artist who is passionate about storytelling through the collaborative process of theatre, television and film. She choreographs, directs and is a creative force, making her a 25 year Broadway legacy.

Her performance of “I Gotcha” in the original Broadway cast of FOSSE, along with 10 blockbuster Broadway musical credits, has solidified her iconic status in the dance and theatre worlds.

Shannon Lewis Choreography and directing credits include:

  • Digital and live projects for THE TONIGHT SHOW with Jimmy Fallon and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, both airing on NBC
  • The groundbreaking world premiere new musical THE SECRET SILK by Stephen Schwartz, John Tartaglia and Jim Henson Creature Shop
  • A recently released the Instagram dance short sensation “SWAY”-
  • The award winning new musical feature film STUCK starring Giancarlo Esposito, Ashanti and Amy Madigan.

Shannon is a reconstructeur and Master Educator for the VERDON/FOSSE Legacy. She sets and passes on her formidable knowledge of the work of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon.

She is also on faculty at world renowned studios STEPS on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in NYC, where she teaches popular sold out classes.
