Norway By Dance! Almost two years ago we decided to create a slightly different video about Norway. We wanted to include the country’s different seasons and highlight its cultural diversity combined with my craft. Fast forward 21 months and the same number of hikes and here it is!

Norway is globally known for its breathtaking fjords, unique mountains, and other various natural phenomenons like the Northern Lights & midnight sun. People from all over the world have Norway high on their places to visit list and it is obvious why.
However, one side of Norway that the rest of the world is yet to discover is the Norwegian culture and its vast diversity. Very little to nothing is known to potential travelers about our bunads, sami, reindeer, and various other cultural gems.
The question is, how do we show this cultural side of Norway to the world?

We aim to create a theatrical dance spot that sets out to show the world Norway’s diverse culture and seasons all set in Norway’s spectacular surroundings. Through traditionally inspired dance we will show the various ways of Norwegian life and culture from throughout the country and diverse communities that makes them unique in their own way, from the Sami Reindeer farmers, Budeies and to the buekorps in Bergen we will adapt and shoot dance with local traditions as a base influence to create a piece like nothing else we have seen.

We aim for a finished piece that will give the viewer a unique taste of Norwegian culture and way of life.
